ADJOURNMENT DEBATE SPEECH

Categories: Miscellaneous

During my time as Parliamentary Officer with the Motorcycle Action Group, I wrote a speech for Michael Fabricant MP to present to the House of Commons as an adjournment debate. He presented this, pretty much as written, with his own characteristic levity included, on the 13th June 1995 including appreciation of my assistance.

The speech highlights the contemporary threats to motorcycling from the European Union including noise limits, graduated licencing, and an appeal to government to oppose the anti-tampering measures being proposed for motorcycles.

The Hansard extract (column 699 to 706) is available here.
